Entering Adulthood on ROTR

It's funny, because though turning 18 is a huge step in life, not a lot of things change for me. I continue going to school, living in my suburban Northeast Ohio home, and I continue writing snarky and hard-hitting political commentary here on ROTR. As a political junkie, the most exciting part of my conversion into adulthood is the prospect of voting. I am excited because all of a sudden, I can take all of my opinions and cast that ballot. Perhaps I'm putting too much stock in the process, but I am excited about it. Others my age look at 18 as a plus for the strip clubs, and really look forward to 21, because that's the big drinking age. I've come a long way since I was RealTeen, blogging on a small sub-blog on Liberty News Forum. I thank you all for your day-to-day support and participation in my site.

On a side note, if you'd like to give me a birthday gift, please feel free to chip in a few dollars (5 or 10, I'm not asking for anything major), to the paypal link below as I'm preparing for an ambitious ad campaign promoting ROTR. Trust me, if things go well, you'll see it. I'll be chipping in my own money as well. Here's the link:

Happy Birthday Kiddo

Justin, all of us at The Wide Awakes are justifiably proud of all that you have accomplished. Congratulations again and let this first vote count.

Happy Birthday!

Hope you liked the gift.

And hope you do something memorable. I know it's going to be hard to wait to vote - but it's great that we've got one more good guy to cast a ballot!!!

Plus, you're incredible at influencing people, Justin. I'm so proud of you! *sniff*

Happy Birthday!

You still look like you're fifteen though...

Congratulations, Justin.

Congratulations, Justin. Mind you, from my POV, you have already been acting like an adult for many years.

Now the real adventure starts :)
